This is a creation I came up with when I was weaning myself off of chocolate shakes – it is easy and refreshing. It also is a great way to incorporate vitamin and mineral rich dates into your diet.

If you are like me and seem to need more than that, this is a low fat way of bringing in lots of protein.

Mint protein shake
Equipment
- 1 blender – a high powered blender is awesome for this smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 scoop raw protein powder organic
- 1 Tbsp dried mint
- 12 dates (deglet) organic
- 2 c water filtered
Instructions
- Throw everything in your blender and blend on high til smooth. Pour and enjoy!
